This stunning boy is everything we love about the breed—smart, loyal, incredibly sweet, and happiest when he's snuggled up beside his favourite people. Max is a world-class cuddler and is always ready to soak up affection.

Max arrived at the shelter with his family after they were abandoned. He proved to be a wonderful dad to his three puppies and a devoted companion to their mom. Now it's finally Max's turn to find a family of his own.

Like his pups, we suspect Max has missed out on many of the good things in life. The difference is that Max has had a little more exposure to the world and is quicker to trust than his daughters. He's eager to connect with people and has already shown everyone what a kind, gentle soul he is.

Max is looking for an experienced Shepherd home that understands the breed and is ready to continue building his confidence. He'll benefit from more socialization with people and other dogs, some polishing of his leash manners, and basic training to help him reach his full potential. With his intelligence and willingness to learn, we think he'll love having a job to do and a family to make proud.
