German Shepherd Dog Dogs Available for Adoption in Stratham, New Hampshire

BERGMAN

German Shepherd Dog
🇺🇸
Stratham, New Hampshire
April 15th
male, large, adult

DESCRIPTION

Bergman (approximately 70 pounds) was transferred to the NHSPCA from an overcrowded shelter in South Carolina. We were blessed to received three of the best shepherds you'll ever meet on this last transfer, and Bergman is one of them. He is wicked friendly, extremely gentle, and so very confident & social. His personality will keep you smiling, because Berg has a personality as big as his body. Bergman loves to sleep flat, like a rug. In fact, he dragged his blanket off of his Kurunda bed and arranged it on the floor so that he could lie flat on it. We believe that he is house trained as he keeps a very clean kennel, and he prefers to potty first in the morning and then enjoy his breakfast. He requires a long stretching period before he's ready to walk, which makes us giggle every time. And one of his favorite activities is laying out in the yard on a raised dog bed with a tennis ball, just watching the birds. Bergman participated in doggie play groups at his previous shelter and did very well - he is extremely tolerant of other dogs and their different play styles. This absolute gem of a dog is waiting patiently for his fur-ever person to find him - come meet Bergman today!
