Mabel joined our program on 2/27 alongside her sister and very pregnant mama. With a beautiful, even-tempered Shepherd mom and a St. Bernard dad, it's no surprise this girl is expected to top 100 lbs when fully grown. She takes after her father's side with her gorgeous markings and deep, booming bark - but underneath that big-dog voice is a soft and sensitive heart.
Mabel starts out timid with new friends but is gaining confidence each and every day. She absolutely adores small children and playing with the neighborhood dogs. Truthfully, she may prefer them over adults most days.
She's done great with her basic training but would benefit from continued work on recall and impulse control. She loves the car, tolerates baths like a champ, and does well on the leash.
Mabel is a gentle giant in the making who will thrive in a loving family home.
