Poor Gus (now Mikey) had been in a foster home at another rescue for roughly a year and a half with no interest for adoption. He came to HOPE because it's his only hope. He is very scared, HATES other cats but lived with large dogs that he didn't seem to mind. We are told he LOVES people and enjoys being around humans. Mikey started out extremely scared and unsure of his new surroundings, but in just a few short days he has become more outgoing and receptive of pets. He seems to prefer men and loves his afternoon treats. Mikey is waiting for a home where he can be the only cat and feel the love of his forever person. He is fully vetted and is beyond ready to start the next chapter of his life.
