DESCRIPTION
Meet Rocco, the German Shepherd mix. Rocco came into the Shelter as a stray so we don’t know much about his life before now. He is an easily excited puppy that has enjoyed playing with staff in the exercise yards of the Shelter. Rocco has met a couple of dogs at the Shelter. He preferred interacting with a well socialized, appropriate female adolescent than a more forward, “in your face” puppy. Any resident dogs should meet at the Shelter prior to adoption. Rocco is still perfecting all things puppy like potty training, leash training, and age-appropriate socialization. We do not have any history of Rocco in a home with cats or children. Rocco is available for pre-adoption. Come meet him, fall in love and take him home after his neuter surgery. Please note: Our Santa Cruz location’s Shelter hours are 11-6pm, 7 days a week! Although clients can walk through and see any animals in their kennels during open hours, we end “meet and greets” (aka meeting an animal out of the kennel) at 4:30pm every day. If you’d like to meet an animal out of the kennel, please arrive before 4:00pm to allow for time to discuss individual animals and meet them.
