Meet Rodger!
Rodger is a fuzzy, two-month-old Shepherd mix who is pretty sure he's the cutest boy around-and his foster mom isn't exactly disagreeing! He shares the title with his littermate, Ruthie, and these two are both pretty adorable.
Rodger absolutely loves being around people. If there's a lap available, he'll happily curl up in it and keep you warm. And if there isn't a lap available? No problem, he's also excellent at keeping your feet warm!
This little guy especially loves being outside. Watching Rodger run is guaranteed to make you smile because he practically looks like a little bunny hopping across the yard! And then there's that incredibly soft, plush puppy fur that just begs to be snuggled.
In his foster home, Rodger is already being introduced to kids, big dogs, and cats. He absolutely loves the other dogs in the home and thinks they are the best! He's soaking up all of these new experiences and learning what it means to be a happy, well-rounded puppy.
Like any two-month-old puppy, Rodger is still learning about this big world and will need a patient family who understands that puppies take time, consistency, and lots of guidance. He is currently sleeping in a kennel at night. He may whine for a little while when he first goes in, but he settles down and sleeps until his foster family gets him up for a potty break.
His future family will need to continue helping him with potty training, leash skills, kennel training, puppy manners, and all the other important lessons that come with raising a puppy. He may have a few things to learn along the way, but he promises to make up for it with plenty of puppy kisses, snuggles, soft fur, and a whole lot of love.
