DESCRIPTION
If you are looking for a loyal companion who will truly dedicate himself to you, meet Max! This wonderful 40 lb boy has a huge heart and a deeply resilient spirit. He found himself homeless in Puerto Rico after being abandoned on the streets with his two brothers back in March. When he was first found, Max was malnourished, underweight, thirsty, and deeply afraid. Despite his rough start, he has put that difficult chapter behind him, proved he is a survivor, and is entirely ready for a true fresh start with a loving family.Max is a total people-oriented "attention hog" who absolutely thrives on human connection and love. On the day he was rescued, Max and his brothers met his foster family's alpha dog, Finy. Showing how smart and sweet he is, Max approached her cautiously with gentle kisses and a wagging tail. Within five minutes, they were running and playing like old friends, and Max spent the rest of that first day glued to his foster dad's side. The very next day, Max went to the vet to be fully vaccinated and neutered. He has been an absolute dream boy since day one. He is incredibly friendly and loves puppies, cats, other dogs, and all people. Max is also a highly intelligent, fast learner who is already one step ahead because he knows basic obedience commands, making him an absolute joy to walk and interact with. He is highly food-motivated and is already trained to sit politely before receiving his meals or treats. Max has so much love to give and cannot wait to find a devoted forever familywhether that is a single owner or an active family with children and other petsto shower with affection, loyalty, and endless companionship. 4 years old.
