Leilani is one of those dogs who quietly wins you over.

After starting life without the comfort and security of a home, she's discovering just how good it feels to have people she can trust, dog friends to follow, and a soft place to sleep at the end of the day.

She can be shy when something or someone is new, but give her a little patience and you'll see her sweet, gentle personality begin to emerge. Leilani does wonderfully with other dogs, is great with kids, and really thrives with the confidence and companionship of a pack.

At home, she's an easy girl—house trained, non-destructive, and happy to simply be part of the family. She's still gaining confidence on leash and learning that adventures outside the home can be safe and fun too.

Leilani doesn't need someone to rush her. She needs someone who will give her the time and encouragement to keep becoming the happy, confident dog she's already learning to be.

She's done the hard part. Now she's ready for the good life.
