Koda is a sweet German Shepherd mix who is learning that the world can be a pretty wonderful place.

He had a rough start, and because of that, he can be a little unsure when he first meets new people or finds himself in unfamiliar situations. Give him some patience and a little time, though, and you'll start to see the playful, curious pup underneath.

Koda loves other dogs and gains so much confidence from having a canine friend nearby. He especially loves following his sister's lead, playing with other pups, exploring his surroundings, and discovering all the fun things he missed out on early in life.

He's looking for a patient, loving family who will let him build trust at his own pace and celebrate every little bit of confidence he gains. Koda may need a little extra time to show you who he is—but we have a feeling the boy waiting underneath that shy exterior is going to be pretty incredible.
