Aster - German Shepherd Dog and Belgian Shepherd Malinois Dog for Adoption in Pleasant Grove, California

NOTE: ASTER IS AT THE MUNICIPAL ANIMAL SHELTER IN STOCKTON, CA. GSRSV HAS NOT MET ASTER. WE ARE LISTING ASTER FOR ADOPTION ALONG WITH OUR OWN DOGS ON THIS WEBSITE TO GIVE HER MORE ADOPTION EXPOSURE. PLEASE SEE END OF THIS PROFILE FOR CONTACT INFO.

“Aster” is a beautiful, 63-lb, approx 112-yo female “Shepinois” (German Shepherd/Belgian Malinois mix) available for adoption at the Stockton animal shelter. She is also very much at risk of euthanasia, both because she’s been at the shelter for over a month and because she tends to hides in her kennel, thus making her less adoptable.

Aster is sweet and affectionate, but also initially timid and somewhat insecure. She is quite stressed in the shelter, but does well once she’s out of her kennel. She has done well with both male and female dogs in play groups.

If you’re interested in meeting Aster, either to adopt or foster her for the shelter, please e-mail sasfoster@stocktonca.gov.
