Mixed Breed Dogs Available for Adoption in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania
DUSTY
Mixed Breed
🇺🇸
Philadelphia, Pennsylvania
May 14th
male, large, adult
DESCRIPTION
This handsome old man is Dusty! If he could speak he would certainly have some stories to tell. He is now looking for his furever home where he can spend his golden years comfortably. He is a bit headstrong and likes to take his time, so it would be best that any children in the home are 5 and older who will respect his boundaries. He is open to possibly living with another dog and/or cat with proper introductions. The shelter is no place for a senior, so please consider adopting this lovely gentleman.
If you are interested in adopting, please come prepared - bring a photo ID, proof of address, and everyone in the home including resident dogs with vaccination history. We are open daily 12-6pm.

ABOUT: MIXED BREED DOG BREED
The mixed breed dogs, often referred to as mutts, are a diverse and unique group with a blend of different characteristics from various purebred dog breeds. These dogs come from a mixture of lineages, resulting in a wide range of sizes, coat types, and temperaments. While each mixed breed dog is distinct in its own right, they are known for their resilience, adaptability, and often have fewer health issues compared to purebred dogs due to their genetic diversity. Mixed breed dogs make wonderful companions for families looking for a loyal and one-of-a-kind pet.
