, an 8-year-old German Shepherd who is the definition of a handsome, distinguished gentleman. With his soft golden brown coat dusted in soot, tall perky ears, and that adorable long tongue that flops out when he’s excited, he’s impossible not to fall in love with. Sadly, Odin was left behind when his family moved, but he’s clearly been well cared for and is ready to find a forever home that will cherish him in his golden years. He absolutely loves affection - both giving and receiving - and is happiest when he’s snuggled up close to his people. Don’t let his age fool you either - this water-loving boy still has plenty of life in him and enjoys splashing around in the pool and having fun! Odin is a total gentleman on leash and well-mannered overall, making him a wonderful fit for many homes - he’ll happily be your loyal, loving companion for life!

-8 year old brown and black German Shepherd

-74 pound neutered male

-may need the standard round of shots and preventatives before he can go home with you, but the shelter can likely help with this!

-came to the Baldwin Park Animal Care Center on 6/6/26/ as an owner surrender when they moved and sadly left him behind

-sweet and affectionate

-handsome boy that was clearly well cared for, now eager to bond w/ a new family

-totally a water dog - loves laying in the pool and playing with water

-seems friendly with girl dogs, but does not like other males

-easy to leash and makes a great walking buddy
