Meet Pete (Peter) — This Happy Boy Is Ready for His Forever Home!
Pete has come a very long way. Rescued from the euthanasia list at the San Bernardino shelter as a young puppy, he went on to survive distemper. After months of recovery, our sweet boy is officially out of the woods and ready for his next chapter.
Pete is about 7 months old, around 40 lbs, fully vaccinated, and still has some growing to do.
He is a wonderful, happy boy with a playful and curious personality. Pete absolutely loves playing with other dogs, exploring new places, splashing in the water, and being part of whatever his people are doing. He is affectionate, social, and loves having both human and animal friends around.
Pete is good with dogs and cats and has also done well around pigs and horses. He can be a little picky with his food — but hey, after everything this boy has been through, we think he’s allowed to have an opinion about dinner!
More than anything, Pete is ready to enjoy life. He would love a family who will take him on adventures, let him play, explore, and be the happy young dog he was always meant to be.
