DESCRIPTION
This 9-week-old German Shepherd has the sweetest little face! At 15 lbs, Bambi is a playful girl full of puppy charm, curiosity, and love--and she loves giving kisses to everyone she meets.
She's currently learning all about the world around her, from potty training and routines to toys, new experiences, and all the fun that comes with being a puppy. Like any young pup, Bambi is still working on potty training and is using puppy pads while learning to go outside. She has done great in a gated puppy space and is adjusting beautifully to structure and routine. Due to her noise level, she will require a home without shared walls (no apartments/townhomes).
Bambi lives with cats at her current foster home and is so far uninterested in them. She will need slow introductions to other dogs but will thrive after that. Bambi is a social and loving pup who does well with people of all ages.
She enjoys all kinds of toys--ropes, stuffies, puppy chews--and is eager to explore everything life has to offer. As a German Shepherd mix, Bambi will grow into an active and intelligent dog who will benefit from regular exercise and mental enrichment. She will require a fenced yard in her future home to meet her energy needs.
Bambi is sweet, adorable, and ready to begin her next adventure. If you're looking for a loving puppy to grow with your family, Bambi is ready to join you!

The adoption fee is $550. Adoption fee includes spay/neuter, heartworm/Lyme test, all age-appropriate vaccinations (distemper, rabies, and Bordetella), heartworm and flea/tick preventatives, and microchip implant (including registration). Adoption fees INCLUDE a mandatory sales tax of 7.525%. Age and breed are based on veterinarian and intake professional's recommendation and not guaranteed as a rescue animal's history is often unknown. Due to post-adoption services provided, we prefer to adopt within a 150-mile radius of the Twin Cities. However, we will consider up to 250 miles if the foster agrees to travel requirements and staff approval.
ABOUT: GERMAN SHEPHERD DOG DOG BREED
The German Shepherd Dog, known for its intelligence, loyalty, and versatility, is a popular and highly regarded breed worldwide. This breed excels in various roles such as police work, search and rescue, and assistance for individuals with disabilities. German Shepherd Dogs are strong, agile, and confident with a distinctive double coat that can be straight or wavy. Their character is marked by courage, loyalty, and a strong work ethic, making them ideal companions and protectors for families and professionals alike.
The mixed breed dogs, often referred to as mutts, are a diverse and unique group with a blend of different characteristics from various purebred dog breeds. These dogs come from a mixture of lineages, resulting in a wide range of sizes, coat types, and temperaments. While each mixed breed dog is distinct in its own right, they are known for their resilience, adaptability, and often have fewer health issues compared to purebred dogs due to their genetic diversity. Mixed breed dogs make wonderful companions for families looking for a loyal and one-of-a-kind pet.
