Elly is a beautiful black and tan German Shepherd with tall, alert ears and a warm, expressive face. She arrived at Cobb Animal Services on August 23rd after her previous owners had to give her up because their kids became allergic. At approximately 5 years old, Elly is a settled, mature girl with a calm, dignified presence.

Elly is very sweet and sits nicely for treats, showing off a great foundation of training. She is also great on a leash, making her a pleasant, well-mannered companion for walks. She is house trained, dog friendly, and good with children, making her a wonderfully adaptable fit for many different kinds of households.

Elly arrived at the shelter alongside Lumber, and the two share a history together. Adopters are warmly encouraged to consider bringing both girls home together, so that companionship can continue.

Elly is waiting in Kennel #824 with that beautiful black and tan coat, ready for the home and the family who will give her the loving future she deserves.

This pet is available for adoption from Cobb County Animal Services, 1060 Al Bishop Dr. Marietta, GA 30008, (770) 499-4136. Shelter hours: Tues. - Sun. 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., closed Mondays & Holidays. The adoption includes shots, altering, a heartworm or combo test and a microchip.
