Eclipse's story hasn't always been an easy one. For much of his young life, Eclipse knew little more than the end of a heavy chain. He was then brought to an overcrowded shelter where the noise and uncertainty left him struggling to cope. He spent much of his time pacing in his kennel, unable to settle. Beneath that anxiety, though, was a wonderful dog waiting for someone to give him the opportunity he deserved. It was clear that what Eclipse needed most was a chance to feel safe, loved, and free.
Since arriving in foster care, Eclipse has begun to blossom. With a consistent routine, a safe place to decompress, and the freedom to explore a fenced yard, his anxiety has steadily melted away. He is learning how to relax, trust, and simply enjoy being a dog. Eclipse is a loving, loyal boy who bonds quickly with his people and is eager to please. He is already excelling with training and sleeps soundly through the night in his crate. We can only imagine how a simple thing like quiet can be so comforting. He also loves other dogs and has benefited greatly from their companionship and guidance.
All Eclipse has ever wanted is a family to call his own. With a dedicated person who will continue to provide structure, patience, and love, we know he will keep thriving. After everything he's been through, Eclipse is more than ready for the happy ending he deserves!!
