Meet Eclair A Little Gem Looking for Her Forever Home !

Eclair is a beautiful 2-3 year-old German Shepherd/Husky mix weighing just 37 pounds. She may be petite, but her heart is overflowing with love. Saved from the euthanasia list, Eclair was given a second chance, and now shes hoping to find the family shes always deserved.

Once Eclair learns to trust you, she becomes incredibly affectionate. She loves giving hugs, snuggling close, resting her head against your neck, and starting each morning with sweet cuddles. Her bond with her people is truly something special.

Eclair walks nicely on a leash, tolerates baths and nail trims well, and enjoys being your loyal companion throughout the day. Whether youre working from home or relaxing, shes happiest simply being by your side.

She is exceptionally intelligent and thrives on learning. Eclair is highly food motivated, making her a joy to train, and she has been working with a professional trainer every week with wonderful progress. She knows how to focus on her handler and loves having a job to do. Her adopter will also receive her handmade settle mat to help her continue succeeding in her new home.

Eclair is crate trained for when youre away and will often choose to relax in her crate on her own. She prefers being close to her people when theyre home, which simply shows how much she loves being part of the family.

She does well with other dogs but can become overly excited and may redirect that excitement by nipping during play. She can also be reactive on walks, but she has been making great progress using positive management techniques learned through training. Her adopter should be committed to continuing her training so she can keep building confidence and succeed.

One of the best things about Eclair is her size. At under 40 pounds, shes a fun-sized companion with all the loyalty, intelligence, and devotion of a German Shepherd. As an added bonus, she sheds very little.

Eclair has overcome so much and is ready to start the happiest chapter of her life. She is looking for a patient, loving family that will continue helping her grow while giving her all the love shes waited so long to receive.
