Meet Pecos PC

Does your house have a couch? How about a sofa? Or a Davenport? A love seat? Any furniture I’m on becomes a love seat! *wink wink*

I do know my way around a couch, so I’m hoping you have one and dogs are allowed to partake in the living room activities.

I am a dapper looking tricolor dog. Foster Mom thinks German shepherd mix, maybe with some Heeler. The rescue volunteer says could have some Lab mixed in there because sometimes Labrador genes make black with tan accents too.

But Heeler is a better descriptor in terms of size. I am a taller medium sized dog, maybe 30-40 lbs right now. Assuming around 1 year old if that, so I’ll likely get a bit bigger as I fill out with my adult muscles.

I was found wandering the streets of Downtown Victoria, Texas. I easily loaded up into a nice lady’s truck and snugged into the front seat for the ride home. Relief! Being alone wandering the streets was awful.

When she took me to get checked for a micro chip we found a number. Yureeka! But no. No happy reunion.

I was adopted from a Corpus Animal shelter, but the person who adopted me, gave me to someone else and then they didn’t have contact for that person. Ugh!

Foster Mom says whoever had me actually did a purty good job because I am a Good Boy and am accustomed to house things.

I sit and wait for Foster Mom to open the door before I go in. I have no issue sleeping in the kennel. I really enjoy toys and couch time. I will curl up on the couch right next to you.

Being young, I still do some no-no’s on occasion. Such as jumping, but we’re working on that. Also, I do chew on things but only if I don’t have a toy available. So that fix is easy. Give me many many toys.

Foster Mom is also been working on more of the standard commands to make sure I’m an even Gooder Boy. We do practice sit, stay, on porch, off porch.

I’m a sweet dog and need a sweet family!
