Hi there! I'm Poppy — and I'm ready to discover just how wonderful the world can be!

I'm a handsome boy with a sweet, gentle personality and a curious mind, and I'm looking for someone special to be my guide. I'm 74% Belgian Malinois and 26% German Shepherd Dog, so I'm a smart pup who is ready to learn, explore, and soak up everything you're willing to teach me.

I'm a little shy when I first meet people, but I'm also very trusting. Give me a little time and kindness, and I'll start to show you what a lovely boy I am. In fact, when someone steps up to meet me, I sit politely — because good manners are important!

I'm already impressing everyone with my leash skills, even though walking on leash is brand new to me. I walk nicely and am eager to keep learning. What I really need is a person who will show me the world, introduce me to new experiences, and make discovering new things fun. I'm a quick learner, so I'm ready for the adventure!

A friendly, confident dog sibling could be wonderful for me, too. Having a canine buddy to show me the ropes and help me feel comfortable in new situations might really help me come out of my shell. And cats? No problem! I live peacefully alongside my feline friends.

Now, if you really want to win me over, bring out a tennis ball! I love them! I'm also a fan of car rides, and I'm perfectly comfortable when left alone. So while I'm still learning about the world, I've already got some pretty great skills under my puppy paws.

I may not be the puppy who rushes up to everyone with a “HELLO!” right away. I'm more of a “let's get to know each other, and then I'll show you my true self” kind of boy. But with patience, encouragement, and someone willing to be my teacher and teammate, I'm sure I'll grow into an amazing companion.
