Hogan is an 8-year-old Shepherd/Husky mix with the soul of a gentleman and the energy of a puppy! He narrowly escaped death row at a Kansas shelter, and now he's soaking up every new Colorado experience like the resilient, curious boy he is. 🏔️❤️

✅ Fully vaccinated
✅ House trained & kennel trained
✅ Not reactive to other dogs on walks
✅ Not a big barker (though he WILL let you know when someone's at the door 🔔)
✅ Loves walks & has plenty of energy to keep up with an active family!

Hogan is loving, attentive, and just craving the kind of attention and stability he deserves. His previous owner surrendered him for having "too many dogs" — so this sweet boy hasn't always had the spotlight he deserves. He's a little shy in new environments at first, but watch out — once he warms up, he is ALL heart. Hogan is well behaved in adoption environments💙

A few things to know:
🐱 Probably best in a cat-free home (he's curious about those free-roaming neighborhood kitties!)
🧒 Older kids are great — no infants or toddlers due to his initial nervousness
🏡 Will need a secure 6-foot fence or a committed leash-walker — this boy can clear a 4-footer like it's nothing! 🐕‍🦺

Don't let the "senior" label fool you — Hogan is NOT your average 8-year-old! He has the zoomies, the love, and the loyalty to fill your home with joy for years to come.
