Red - German Shepherd Dog Dog for Adoption in Chicago, Illinois

Red is at our Bucktown Adoption Center (2144 N. Wood St.) Stop in anytime during open hours to meet her!


This sweet pup is spayed and healthy! She is up to date on vaccines. She is also microchipped!


: Housebreaking - We are still learning about Red! Keep and eye out for more information


: Leash walking - So far, so good!


: Dog-friendly- Gets along with other dogs and may enjoy having a canine companion.


: Cat-friendly - Not sure, she hasn't met cats with us yet! Slow intro needed if adopted into a home with a cat.


Kid-friendly: Red's source shelter reports she was friendly when interacting with kids



Red just arrived from our rescue partner in West Texas, and we're still getting to know her. So far, Red has shown us that she LOVES people! She's an affectionate sweetheart who loves to shower her favorite people with gentle kisses and soak up all the love and attention she can get. Red also already knows how to sit on cue and has lovely leash manners. Stay tuned for updates as we get to know her better!


This pet has not been DNA tested, we are unsure of their actual breed makeup, but these are the breeds we think they look like!


Red's adoption fee is $300, and this sweet pup can't wait to meet you!
