Kyrie - German Shepherd Dog Dog for Adoption in Chicago, Illinois

Kyrie is a 75-pound, six-year-old, calm, loyal and loving, German Shepherd dog looking for a loving guardian.

Kyrie adores his people. His foster mom reports that she wakes up to his face on her pillow. No crate needed, Kyrie is perfectly housebroken and non-destructive.

Kyrie walks well on leash; however, he can be reactive to other dogs.

While he is friendly to most people who come to his home, he can be protective to people who approach his foster mom on walks.

He is looking for a true shepherd-lover as the one and only pet preferably with a fenced in yard. He is accustomed to being a yard dog and not well-socialized to all the new things you run into while out on a walk. While Kyrie doesnt appear to understand specific commands, he is intuitive and takes treats gently from your fingers.

Kyrie is healthy, neutered, vaccinated for rabies and distemper, and bordetella heartworm-tested, dewormed, and microchipped.
