Etra - German Shepherd Dog and Belgian Shepherd Malinois Dog for Adoption in Aledo, Texas

MEET ETRA - BIG BRAINS, BIG PERSONALITY & LOTS TO SAY!
Etra and her brother, Brazos, have found themselves back at Pawprints of Hope Rescue after family circumstances changed. It's not their fault, and now we're hoping to find this spirited girl a family ready to help her reach her full potential!
DNA Tested: German Shepherd / Husky / Belgian Malinois Mix
If you love a smart dog with personality to spare, Etra might just be your girl! This beautiful puppy is friendly, eager to learn, and highly motivated by food and praise. And thanks to her Husky side, she may even have a few things to say about what's happening around her!
A little about Etra:
Friendly and wonderful with children
Extremely intelligent
Motivated by treats and positive reinforcement
Crate trained
Knows sit
At the beginning stages of leash training
Does well with other dogs, including older Huskies
Does well with the indoor cat she's familiar with
Has been around ducks and chickens without showing aggression, but she has been known to sneak an egg or two!
Etra is the more high-spirited and vocal sibling. She has that classic Husky-style commentary and plenty of puppy enthusiasm! She's still growing, still teething, and will need regular exercise, mental enrichment, positive training, and appropriate outlets for all that brilliant puppy energy.
Because of her strong prey drive toward outdoor animals, we would not recommend a home with outdoor cats.
Etra is dewormed, vaccinated, and crate trained. She has the brains and personality to make a wonderful companion for someone who understands active working-breed mixes and is excited to help a young dog learn.
She and Brazos can be placed together or separately, depending on the best fit. Etra deserves a fresh start with a family committed to helping her thrive!
Ready for a clever, spirited girl who will keep life interesting?
