DESCRIPTION
Hawk is the sweetest housemate you will ever have. "Hawk" is almost in sarcasm as "mouse" is more appropriate to her timid nature! She lived on the run raising puppies, and still stays on alert - especially living in the city! All the new sounds to get used to is a lot for a shy one!
Her pups are adopted and living their best lives so time to focus on Mama Hawk!
She LOVES to come running to you for scratches and will give the sweetest kisses to you. She sleeps through the night in her crate and LOVES toys. Hawk is VERY food motivated.
She is learning how to play with other dogs - she wants to engage, but doesn't quite get HOW to yet!! Part of her good natured "country come to town" persona ... you can see her watching other dogs trying to figure out their wrestling.
She'd do best with a patient dog who doesn't get in her face, but one who can show her how to be a relaxed dog - be it in the suburbs or in a quiet country cottage!
ABOUT: GERMAN SHEPHERD DOG DOG BREED
The German Shepherd Dog, known for its intelligence, loyalty, and versatility, is a popular and highly regarded breed worldwide. This breed excels in various roles such as police work, search and rescue, and assistance for individuals with disabilities. German Shepherd Dogs are strong, agile, and confident with a distinctive double coat that can be straight or wavy. Their character is marked by courage, loyalty, and a strong work ethic, making them ideal companions and protectors for families and professionals alike.
The mixed breed dogs, often referred to as mutts, are a diverse and unique group with a blend of different characteristics from various purebred dog breeds. These dogs come from a mixture of lineages, resulting in a wide range of sizes, coat types, and temperaments. While each mixed breed dog is distinct in its own right, they are known for their resilience, adaptability, and often have fewer health issues compared to purebred dogs due to their genetic diversity. Mixed breed dogs make wonderful companions for families looking for a loyal and one-of-a-kind pet.
