Meet Alanna, 16 weeks old and 32 pounds from our Irish Litter, born January 10th—this fluffy little heart-stealer is ready to bring a whole lot of magic into your life!



With a beautiful mix of German Shepherd mama and (likely) Great Pyrenees papa, she is destined to grow into a big, stunning companion—with that soft, snuggly coat!



Raised in one of our incredible foster homes, Alanna is living the good life—showered with love, top-notch care, and plenty of social time with dogs, cats, and even kids of all ages. Need a buddy to attend kids soccer or baseball games? Alanna is a pro!


All this means you're getting a well-loved, well-started puppy who's already learning how to be an amazing family member.



This sweet girl will thrive in a home with a fenced yard where she can stretch those growing legs and explore. Because of the breed mix, an experienced dog owner is a big plus—and having another friendly dog in the home would be the cherry on top to help teach all the best “dogging” skills.

ADOPTION FEE Covers: Core vaccines plus Lepto and Flu, all boosters, microchip, dewormer until clear fecal test & spay or neuter when completed by a DSDA vet partner plus any necessary medical care. All dogs are on flea, tick and heartworm prevention and you receive the following month's preventatives complementary with your adoption!

Dogs (over 12 months) - $275

Qualifications for Adoption: No dog is alike and each dog has different requirements based on breed, age, energy level and life experiences. DSDA is very careful to place our dogs in homes that we believe are the best fit for the dog based on our experience with each dog. All of our dogs live in foster homes which allows us the opportunity to learn about their individual needs.


Must be home more than not.
Vet checks are required! All resident pets in the applicant's home MUST be spayed or neutered, core vaccines up to date and dogs on heartworm prevention to be considered! No exceptions.
Must be 21 years or older with identification showing present address.
Must have the knowledge and consent of all adults living in the household.
Must receive proof of pet deposit and lease allowing pets if renting.
Willingness and capacity to spend the time and money necessary to provide training, medical treatment and responsible care for a pet.
Must have a secure fence if in a house.
All poisonous plants must be removed from the yard.
DSDA is located in Dallas and requires a home visit on every adoption so only adopt to Dallas and surrounding areas.
