Meet Sushi!

Sushi is a 1.5 year old, Spayed Female, Long Haired German Shepherd/Belgian Tervuren mix.

Prior to coming to us, Sushi lived in a big family! She had children and loved them! Unfortunately Sushi was not socialized properly as a puppy which has left her fearful of new things and places. She is looking for a Shepherd loving family who can help her come out of her shell with patience and socialization.

Sushi is an active girl! She loves to play and is what we'd consider to be a high drive dog! Once she's done playing she's happy to settle down and learns fast. At this time we feel she will do best as the only pet in the home but with time she may adjust to living with and socializing with other dogs.

If your application was approved and you received a call back from the Humane Society of Macomb for a meet and greet, plan to take the animal home that day. We cannot place animals on hold to come pick up for another day.
