Hi, I'm Annika—but my foster mom calls me Nika! I'm a 5-month-old pup looking for my forever home. I might be a little shy at first, but once I warm up, I stick close to my people—I just really like being near you. I'm already potty trained and kennel trained, so I've got a great head start on being the perfect house dog.
I'm a pretty smart girl too—I come when called and walk nicely on a leash when it's just me and my human. If there's another dog along, I can get a little excited and all over the place, but I'm still learning and getting better every day! One of my favorite things ever is playing fetch—I'll even bring the ball right back to you (because what's the fun if we don't keep playing?!).
I get along really well with other dogs and would love a furry friend to play with. I can be a bit sensitive, especially around little kids who move fast or are loud, so I'd probably feel most comfortable in a home with older kids who understand I just need a little patience.
