This lovable 6-month-old little thief might sneak off with a sock or two—but don't worry, he'll steal your heart even faster. With a mellow, easygoing personality, Fernando is the perfect balance of playful and relaxed.

Fernando can be a bit skittish at first in new situations, but give him a little time and patience, and he warms up into a sweet, affectionate companion who loves being close to his people.

He gets along wonderfully with dogs and kids, making him a great fit for a family home. With no prey drive, he's more interested in snuggles than chasing, and he absolutely loves cozying up with his people.

Smart and eager to learn, Fernando catches on quickly and redirects well when needed. He's a big fan of toys (seriously, the more the better!) and enjoys staying mentally engaged. Like many young dogs, he does have a chewing habit, so having plenty of appropriate chew toys will keep him happy and out of trouble.

Fernando is currently working on crate training and is already off to a great start—willingly going in for meals and building positive associations.
