Meet Michelada ("Chelada")!

Michelada is an 8-year-old French Bulldog with a huge personality, a hilarious streak, and enough charm to keep you smiling every single day. Surrendered by a breeder, this handsome white gentleman is settling into life as a beloved family dog-and he's proving he's a natural.

He has chronic dry eye and will need eye drops for the rest of his life.

Around his foster home, he already answers to "Chelada," especially if you say it with a little accent! He loves going for car rides, has excellent house manners, and hasn't had a single accident. He'll even let you know when he needs to go outside by heading to the door.

Chelada gets along with other dogs but prefers friends who understand and respect personal space. He's happy to coexist, but if another dog crowds him-especially when he's soaking up attention on your lap-he'll let them know he'd rather not share. Because of this, he'd do best as an only dog or with a laid-back canine companion who respects boundaries. He'd also do well with older, respectful children.

One of his favorite things in the world? A good massage with a dog grooming brush! It brings out the funniest little happy noises and is guaranteed to make you laugh. He also has a softer side-put him on the couch or bed for movie night, and he'll happily roll onto his back, stretch out between you, and soak up all the belly rubs he can get. He's a world-class cuddle bug once he feels at home.

His foster family suspects Chelada may have been spoiled with table scraps in the past, so they're helping him transition to a healthier diet by mixing fresh dog-friendly food with his kibble. Like many Frenchies, he knows what he likes!

Chelada also knows commands like "Leave It," "Stay," and "Here," showing that he's a smart little guy who enjoys learning and being part of the family.
