Update!! His skin issue is an overgrowth of ketatin that was a result of trauma and is not something contagious. Using apoquel and antibiotics, we calmed the itching and irritation and it looks SO MUCH better!! Unfortunately, the keratin growths are likely going to be with him forever.

Meet KOBE whose owner passed away and it landed him in the shelter. This handsome elder Frenchie arrived to our rescue today with some GNARLY skin issues. We aren't sure what the heck these things are, but they are itchy to the point that he arrived bloody from scratching.

He is super laid back and mellow, and loves to dance and get affection. So far, we are keeping him isolated until his vet care on Friday, but he doesn't seem bothered by the cats and dogs.

We know he may look a little warty.... but we just tell him he's the most handsomest boy! And he's like.... yeah. I know!
