Adopt Ginny
Ginny was rescued with her one-day old pups and brought to us for post birth care and love. Of course, room was made and Ginny proved to be the very BEST momma ever. She doted on those puppies and now it is her turn to be doted on. Ginny was a farm dog, even though she looks to be an English Pointer. She has the pointer instincts but will likely not make a great hunter because she seems to be quite skittish with loud noises. Which is why she probably ended up on some farmer’s property in a small kennel. Ginny is a great listener and learner, but she can be very focused when on the sniff/hunt.
Ginny is happiest around her people and other dogs. She is a great companion to anyone but may do better with older kids that are not so loud. We can tell that Ginny was never raised in a house environment, she quickly learned that a lap and couch are quite nice. She has also picked up the idea that she should go outside to potty!
Ginny is under 40lbs and the vet guessed to be 3 years old, but she has the energy and playfulness of a one-year old.
Ginny is available through Animal Advocates of North Texas and is being fostered in Southlake. This pup will be totally vetted. Please help us by sharing this post!
