Zelda - English Bulldog Dog for Adoption in West Peoria, Illinois

Zelda is a sweet four year old english bulldog. She loves to play ball and tries to be a lap dog, lol. She will let you know when she wants outside to go potty. She knows a few commands such as sit, lay, and paw. She is a very loving girl and if you say "kennel night night" she will go in the kennel for night time with her blanket. She is good with the children in her foster home (ages 3, 6 & 8), good with other dogs, but definitely needs a home without cats.

Her adoption fee of $500 covers her spay, microchip with registration, vaccines, and current monthly flea and heartworm preventions. Please apply at gfrpets.org/apply

The English Bulldog is a distinctive and beloved breed known for its sturdy build, wrinkled face, and gentle temperament. Originating in England, these dogs are characterized by their muscular frame, powerful jaw, and unique pushed in nose. Despite their tough appearance, English Bulldogs are affectionate, loyal, and great with children, making them excellent family pets. Due to their brachycephalic nature, they may struggle with overheating and breathing issues, requiring attentive care and moderate exercise to keep them healthy and happy.
