Gordon - English Bulldog and Mixed Breed Dog for Adoption in Sinking Spring, Pennsylvania

Hi, everyone! Gordon here! You can also call me Gordy, Gordo, or Gordon Ramsey... and no, it's not because I'm a world-class chef. It's because I don't bark... I yell I have a lot to say, and I'm not afraid to let the whole neighborhood know it!

So, funny story. Back in August, I found myself at ACCT Philly, and things weren't looking too great for yours truly. I was sick, covered in more lumps and bumps than a bowl of oatmeal, and honestly, I was pretty depressed. I even found myself on the euthanasia list. BUT THEN... Zoe's House decided my story wasn't over yet.

Fast-forward to today, and LOOK AT ME NOW! I've had what I like to call a little "plastic surgery" to get rid of some of those lumps and bumps (okay, fine, the vet deserves the credit ), and I'm feeling so much better! The humans estimate I'm around 8 years old, but I'd like to formally dispute that number. I've got places to go, walks to take, and zoomies to zoom! If you need a walking buddy, I'm your guy!

Now, let's discuss my best feature: I'm the best cuddler! My foster humans say they've never had a dog who cuddles like me. My only tiny flaw? I have absolutely NO concept of personal space. If you sit down, I will sit ON you. But look at this face. Can you really stay mad at me?

I'd love a playful dog sibling around my size (60 lbs) or bigger because I play pretty rough! I'm working on my dog-greeting manners and learning to manage my excitement in public. Cats are not my cup of tea!

I do come with a little maintenance package I must mention... I have typical bully-breed skin and ear issues, plus dry eyes that require eye drops. The good news? I'm a very good boy for my drops! My other maintenance I require comes in form of a confident and consistent leader to continue training. I thrive best when provided structure and set boundaries.

I don't know why my first chapter was so hard, but I'm proof that a second chance can change everything. Now I'm looking for a family to love me, take me on adventures, and let me be the affectionate, goofy bulldog mix I was meant to be.
