Rowan has a signature move that never fails to get a laugh: she'll pounce around like a little goat, bouncing on all fours when she's trying to get your attention — or the attention of any other pet in the room.

Born around mid-March 2026, Rowan is an independent, whip-smart, and extremely sweet girl. She's deaf, which she navigates like a champ — picking up hand signals for commands, watching the world closely, and communicating through visual cues rather than sound. She adores cats, gets along calmly with other dogs, and gives the best face kisses and belly rubs. She's confident in new places, with great leash manners and the stamina to keep up on long walks, runs, or hikes. Her next family should be comfortable using hand signals and visual training methods, and she's shown some food guarding on one occasion under stressful circumstances, so a thoughtful introduction with resident pets is a good idea. She's expected to grow into a medium-to-large adult, and she's up to date on age-appropriate vaccinations.
