Raton has come a remarkably long way since arriving in our care emaciated and longing for affection. Thanks to a careful refeeding schedule and an abundance of love, he has blossomed into a healthy, vibrant, and happy young man! Born just last October, this handsome Doberman mix sports his gorgeous natural ears and tail, and he is full of playful energy. He is looking for a structured, patient family ready to help him fine-tune his puppy manners. Raton loves to play and can be a bit rambunctious at times—while he gets along wonderfully with dogs of all sizes, his exuberant play style can sometimes be a little overwhelming for smaller pups! Dog savvy kids would probably be best till Raton learns a few more manners.

He gets along great with humans big and small, though he has not met a cat yet—and let's be honest, his energetic curiosity would probably be a little annoying to a feline friend! Slow and proper introductions would be best. Raton is completely content hanging out in his kennel, has done fantastic with his potty routine, and is actively working on mastering his leash manners.
