Meet Dolly!

As of 9/28/26, Dolly is 8 weeks old and weighs approx 7.5 lbs. Despite her small size as a puppy, every indication points towards her being at least 60 lbs as an adult dog. She is a Doberman mix...there is some shepherd, lab, rottie and pittie in there too.

Dolly was picked up by animal control along with 29 other puppies from a homeless encampment in Modesto. From there, she went to the Stanislaus Animal Shelter for a couple of days and was then pulled by Hair of the Dog Rescue and placed in a foster home. She is a rescue favorite because of her happy spunky personality.

Dolly is a very friendly, playful, happy, curious, puppy. She loves other dogs and people. She's an all around great girl who will require all of the normal puppy training to set her up to be the best dog she can be in the future. She is also pretty active so we think she'd make a great hiking or jogging buddy once she gets older. She'd make a great family dog, she is very loving and snuggly.

**Note: because of her young age, Dolly is not fully vaccinated or spayed yet. Her future adopter will be expected to take her to her vet appointments and the rescue will cover the costs when done at our vet.
