Ophelia Frump - Doberman Pinscher and Shepherd Dog for Adoption in Los Angeles, California

Meet Ophelia!

Ophelia is a beautiful 5 to 6 month old Shepherd and Doberman mix with a heart as strong as they come. Her story began when a kind woman reached out to us for help. Her grandmother in South Los Angeles had taken in a pregnant dog she found on the streets, who went on to give birth to 10 puppies. For months, the family contacted rescues, hoping to find help for the little ones. By the time we were able to step in, all 10 puppies were sick with parvovirus, a potentially deadly disease. We rushed them to the hospital for treatment and were overjoyed when every single puppy survived!

Ophelia was the sickest of the entire litter, but in true fighter fashion, she was also the first to recover. This girl has always had a little extra strength in her, and we are so grateful she made it through. Thankfully, those difficult early days are behind her, and now she is ready to find a family of her very own.

Despite everything she has been through, Ophelia is an absolute sweetheart. She is surprisingly calm for a puppy, with a quiet, observant nature that makes her a joy to be around. She enjoys cuddling with her people and has a gentle way about her that makes you want to scoop her up and never let go. While she is still a puppy with plenty of growing and learning ahead of her, she has a wonderfully easygoing personality.

After fighting so hard just to survive, Ophelia deserves a future filled with love, safety, and all the happiness a puppy should know. We would love nothing more than to see this special girl grow up in a family that cherishes her as much as she deserves. Could Ophelia be the missing piece of your family?
