Corduroy - Great Pyrenees and Shepherd Dog for Adoption in Los Angeles, California

Every bear deserves someone to love him, and Corduroy is searching for his very own family!

Inspired by the beloved storybook bear, our handsome little Corduroy is as adorable as they come. With his fluffy darker coat, beautiful markings, and oversized puppy paws, he’s sure to steal a few hearts!

Corduroy is part of our Bear Cubs Litter, rescued from a property in Lancaster where a colony of fearful adult dogs has continued to produce litters. While helping the adult dogs remains challenging, we’re grateful to be able to give these puppies a chance at a completely different future.

Born around August 2, 2026, Corduroy is believed to be a Great Pyrenees/Shepherd/ Golden Retriever mix. His exact breed combination is unknown, but we anticipate he’ll grow into a large, fluffy companion.

As a young puppy, Corduroy is just beginning his journey. He’ll need a patient, committed family ready to guide him through potty training, socialization, puppy manners, and all the important milestones ahead.

Corduroy has received his first round of DAPP and Bordetella vaccinations, with additional puppy vaccinations still needed as he grows and of course the neuter when he is of age.
