Adventure wanted! Meet Louie, a handsome, fun-loving DoberDoodle puppy with a curious mind, plenty of energy, and a personality that will keep you smiling. This little guy has places to go, things to investigate, and a whole world waiting to be explored!

Louie is one of seven beautiful puppies born on August 16, 2026. Their mother is a gorgeous red/chocolate Doberman, and their father is a large black Labradoodle. With this combination, we expect these puppies to grow into intelligent, loyal, long-legged, athletic dogs who will need families committed to providing both physical exercise and mental stimulation.

Now, let's talk about Louie!

Hi, I'm Louie! I'm definitely an on-the-go kind of guy. There are things to explore, places to investigate, and adventures to be had, so I like to keep moving! But I do have one weakness... a really good ear massage. Start rubbing my ears, and I might actually stop whatever important puppy business I'm doing long enough to enjoy it. Trust me, that's saying something!

I'm also a firm believer that every respectable puppy should have a chew toy within reach at all times. You never know when the urge to chew might strike, and I believe in being prepared!

I'm a pretty fun combination of independent and affectionate. I'm perfectly happy entertaining myself, but I also love spending time with my people. Sometimes you'll even catch me sitting quietly in the yard, watching the birds or planes go by. What can I say? I'm a deep thinker! And when the mood strikes, I'm happy to share some pretty wonderful puppy snuggles.

I'm working on my puppy manners and learning the rules of being a good boy. I get along great with all the resident dogs in my foster home, and I absolutely love kids! Honestly, I'm happy to accept attention from just about anyone willing to give it.

My foster family says I'm smart, curious, energetic, and full of personality. I'm still young, so there's plenty for me to learn, and I'm looking for a family who will enjoy teaching me new things, exploring the world together, and helping me become the very best dog I can be.

If you're looking for an adventure buddy who can keep you on your toes but also has a thoughtful, affectionate side, I just might be your guy!

A little more about the DoberDoodle litter:

These puppies currently have wiry coats and shed very little. However, because they are mixed breeds, they are NOT considered hypoallergenic, and their coat texture and shedding may change as they mature.

While they are absolutely adorable little puppies now, they will likely grow into large, active dogs with big brains and plenty of energy. Consistent training, socialization, physical activity, and mental enrichment will be important throughout their lives. These are not puppies who will be happy with just a backyard and an occasional walk!

Louie needs a family who understands the commitment of raising an intelligent, active puppy and is ready to provide the training, patience, exercise, and love he deserves.

Our standard adoption fee is $465. We offer a $15 discount for adopters who pay by cash or check, making the adoption fee $450.

The adoption fee includes spay/neuter when age appropriate at one of our participating veterinarians, age-appropriate core vaccinations, fecal test, deworming, current on flea and tick preventative, and microchip.

To ensure the best match for both our dogs and adopters, we require a fully completed adoption application, a phone interview, and a meet-and-greet with the entire household. Applications will not be reviewed unless fully completed.
