Clementine is a beautiful approximate 18-month-old Dalmatian/standard poodle mix that weighs approximately 40 lbs. If a bouncy, fun family dog is what you are looking for, she is your girl! Clementine came to Hope with her puppy as an owner surrender and has transitioned beautifully into life in a family home. She is potty trained and kennels herself at night. Clementine gets along with anyone she has met and just wants to be snuggled and petted by everyone. She has a lot of energy but re directs well and with consistent training she will do well. She enjoys walks every day and greeting everyone in her foster family’s neighborhood. Clementine does chase the cat in the current foster home but does well with other dogs and has been very gentle with kids of all ages. Due to Clementine's energy, her best fit home would be a single-family home with a fenced yard for her to play in and an active family that will take her on walks and adventures where she can explore and use her brain. Clementine is NOT hypoallergenic and will NEED REGULAR GROOMING. Her new owner needs to consider the time and cost associated with the upkeep of her coat when making the decision to apply. Clementine also needs an experienced dog owner that understands the needs of a high energy breed to meet her needs for training and exercise. Clementine is a sweetheart and has a lot of potential.
