Maple - Dachshund and Chihuahua Dog for Adoption in Southlake, Texas

Meet Maple! An adorable 8 month old Dachshund/ Chi mix. Maple and her other siblings came into our rescue since she was apart of an accidental litter but when they were struggling to rehome them they were going to "get rid" of them for good so we stepped in and took them. We moved forward with getting them vetted and transitioning them into foster homes. Maple is spayed, vaccinated, heartworm negative, current on prevention, microchipped, and was given a 3 month Bravecto. Maple dose need some extra patience since she is the most shy out of her litter. She does't have much confidence but with a loving and patient family she will definitely learn and trust. It took her about a week to get comfortable in her foster home but she continues to make great progress. She leans heavily on confidence from another dog so if you currently have a dog she loves to play and will follow what thee other dog dose. Once she is acclimated she loves to cuddle and will gladly take a nap with you. Her current foster home has other dogs and cats so she is well socialized. Maple needs a family that will continue with training and that will love her. She is still working on potty training. She has the adorable Dachshund coloring, short legs and long body. She also has the adorable wrinkles.
