She could stand to lose a couple of pounds, but don't tell her we said that—she's already convinced she's the perfect lap dog!

Arabella may be a bit shy when meeting new people, but give her a little patience and she'll quickly show you what a sweetheart she is. Once she trusts you, she becomes incredibly devoted and loves nothing more than being close to her favorite person. Whether she's curled up beside you on the couch, snuggled in your lap, or simply making sure you're always within sight, Arabella is happiest when she's with the people she loves. Her foster has noticed she may even have a soft spot for the men in her life!

This affectionate girl lives for belly rubs, neck scratches, and all the attention you can give her. She's playful too, enjoying toys and the occasional game with another dog, though she'd prefer her furry friends respect her personal space when she's enjoying one of her prized toys. She's also a big fan of treats and loves spending time outdoors, especially on leisurely walks. In fact, regular strolls would be the perfect way to help her slim down while doing something she truly enjoys.

Arabella walks nicely on leash, rides well in the car, knows commands like sit, come, lie down, and go to bed, and is puppy pad trained. She does have excellent manners in the house, though she'll need continued work on fully mastering her house training. She'll also let you know when someone new arrives with a few barks before settling down.

Like many dogs who have experienced change, Arabella forms deep bonds with her people and can become anxious when her favorite human leaves her sight. She's looking for an adopter who understands that love and patience go a long way in helping a dog feel safe and secure.
