WILLIE - Dachshund Dog for Adoption in Marana, Arizona

Willie came to us from Yuma after his owner was no longer able to care for him. He is a really nice boy and eased right into his foster home with no issues whatsoever. He is estimated around 9 years old (14 lbs) and seems to be a healthy boy based on his bloodwork. He is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped and is scheduled for a dental (so will be adoption ready by 7/17). He is well socialized and has done great with other dogs and the fosters school aged children

Willie is housebroken, crate trained and does great on a leash. He does not seem to be an excessive barker and is friendly and outgoing so could fit into lots of different types of family situations but seems like he would enjoy a somewhat active lifestyle (unlike his sisters who are both more shy).
