Dixie Mae - Chihuahua Dog for Adoption in Marana, Arizona

Dixie Mae came to us from MCACC after suffering from a severe femoral hernia that was repaired and she is now doing amazing! She is 11-12 years old and 1011 lbs. She is very sweet and calm but is starting to show her playful side now that she is feeling better. Dixie Mae also had a dental scaling and is spayed and current on vaccines and microchipped. Dixie Mae is fostering in Mesa so meet and greets will need to occur in the E Valley.

Dixie Mae does walk on leash, is fully housebroken at the fosters house now that a routine has been established, and does ok in a crate though also is reliable to be allowed free roam. Dixie could fit into lots of types of family situations but would love someone home alot.
