Arnie - Dachshund and Mixed Breed Dog for Adoption in Fresno, California

Meet Arnie!

Say hello to **Arnie**, a sweet senior gentleman who is looking for a special someone to give him the love, patience, and understanding he deserves!

Arnie is a shy and nervous little guy who needs a little extra time to feel safe and comfortable around new people. The world can feel overwhelming for him at times, but with a gentle approach and plenty of reassurance, he can begin to build trust at his own pace.

This handsome senior would benefit from a **quiet, peaceful home** with a patient and understanding family who won't rush him. Arnie needs someone who understands that building a bond takes time and who is willing to celebrate the little victories along the way.

Arnie may not be the type of dog who runs straight into your arms, but that doesn't mean he isn't deserving of all the love in the world! He just needs someone willing to give him the time and space to feel secure.

**Senior dogs have so much love left to give, and Arnie deserves the chance to spend his golden years feeling safe, cherished, and loved.**

**Could you be the patient and loving person Arnie has been waiting for? Come meet this sweet senior boy and give him the second chance he deserves!**

The dachshund is a small dog breed known for its long body, short legs, and distinctive appearance. Originally bred for hunting badgers, these playful and loyal dogs make loving companions for families. Dachshunds come in three coat varieties smooth, wirehaired, and longhaired each with its own unique charm. Despite their size, dachshunds are bold and courageous, with a curious nature that can sometimes lead to mischief. Their endearing personality and adaptability make them popular pets worldwide.

The mixed breed dogs, often referred to as mutts, are a diverse and unique group with a blend of different characteristics from various purebred dog breeds. These dogs come from a mixture of lineages, resulting in a wide range of sizes, coat types, and temperaments. While each mixed breed dog is distinct in its own right, they are known for their resilience, adaptability, and often have fewer health issues compared to purebred dogs due to their genetic diversity. Mixed breed dogs make wonderful companions for families looking for a loyal and one-of-a-kind pet.
