Freddy is a sweet 4-year-old Dachshund who came into rescue after his person sadly passed away and no one in the family was able to keep him. Understandably, all those changes were a little overwhelming at first, but Freddy has shown just how resilient he is. He quickly settled into his foster home and has adapted well to having foster brothers around.
Dogs: Freddy has adjusted well to living with his foster brothers.
Cats: Cats are still a bit of a work in progress for Freddy. He's having some difficulty adjusting to them, but he's making improvements every day.
Yard: In his previous home, Freddy went outside on a leash, so discovering the freedom of a fenced yard has been a pretty exciting upgrade! He loves being able to wander around and explore.
People: This is where Freddy really shines. More than anything, he simply wants his people nearby. He's happiest following you around the house, keeping you company, and then curling up right beside you when it's time to relax.
At just 14 pounds, Freddy is the perfect little companion for someone looking for a devoted shadow, couch buddy, and best friend all rolled into one adorable Dachshund.
