Pely is a 5 year old, 16 lb sweetheart whose life has completely changed since being rescued from the streets of Puerto Rico. When she was found, she was suffering from a severe skin condition, but with love and proper care, she has made an incredible recovery and is feeling better every day.

Pely is a gentle, quiet girl who is still learning that people can be kind. She's a little shy at first, but each day she grows more confident and her sweet personality shines through. Watching her discover the comforts of a safe home has been incredibly rewarding.

Having never lived inside before, Pely is soaking up every cozy bed, soft blanket, and peaceful nap. She is learning what it means to be loved and cared for, and she's embracing this new chapter at her own pace.

If you're looking for a kind, gentle companion and have the patience to let a deserving dog continue to blossom, Pely will reward you with a lifetime of quiet loyalty and love. She does well with cats, dogs and kids.
