Meet Beetlejuice -

Looking for a velcro dog? Well, here I am! Hanging out beside you is exactly where Beetlejuice wants to be. ❤️

Beetlejuice is a spayed 10-month-old, 25 lb. mixed breed love bug. We’re guessing Dachshund and Terrier, but her mix is truly anyone’s guess.

Currently living with many other dogs in her foster home in Amity, Oregon, she gets along wonderfully with everyone (adults, kids, large/small dogs, and cats). She has also done great around goats and chickens. Rather than chasing the cats, she simply sniffed them and moved on.

Off leash, Beetlejuice stays close to her people and already has excellent recall, happily running back when called.

She adapted quickly to the dog door and has had no accidents inside.

Beetlejuice craves attention, loves to please, and is happiest simply being near her humans. If you’re looking for a sweet companion to share life’s adventures with, Beetlejuice may be your perfect match.

Based on 30 years of experience with rescue doxies, we have pretty strict criteria for dogs that we adopt and that we recommend to owners whose doxies we list courtesy posts for, the sole aim of which is to facilitate a successful adoption with a forever family.

*Do you work from home/stay at home/work part time?
*Have a securely fenced yard?
*We do not place same gender dogs in a home unless they were raised together, and *Children need to be 12 or older (some exceptions IF the dog is a puppy or the child has been raised with a doxie).
*We prefer non smokers and a home with no other small animals (ferrets, hamsters, etc). *Cats are on a case by case basis depending on the dog.

Remember these are rescues, many were surrendered because of these or similar issues.
