Cilantros is a small dog transferred in from Glynn County Animal Services. She is the mom of a couple of other puppies transferred in. Cilantros is fully grown and only 21 pounds, which is an ideal size for many people. She appears to do well with other dogs and has a very sweet personality. Come and meet this precious little girl for yourself. She is holding human interviews Tuesday through Saturday 11 to 4. Cilantros is spayed, microchipped, current on core vaccines and has tested negative for heartworms. Also, we don't believe she has a drop of Hispanic blood in her, but she is very popular with everyone!
ABOUT: DACHSHUND DOG BREED
The dachshund is a small dog breed known for its long body, short legs, and distinctive appearance. Originally bred for hunting badgers, these playful and loyal dogs make loving companions for families. Dachshunds come in three coat varieties smooth, wirehaired, and longhaired each with its own unique charm. Despite their size, dachshunds are bold and courageous, with a curious nature that can sometimes lead to mischief. Their endearing personality and adaptability make them popular pets worldwide.
The mixed breed dogs, often referred to as mutts, are a diverse and unique group with a blend of different characteristics from various purebred dog breeds. These dogs come from a mixture of lineages, resulting in a wide range of sizes, coat types, and temperaments. While each mixed breed dog is distinct in its own right, they are known for their resilience, adaptability, and often have fewer health issues compared to purebred dogs due to their genetic diversity. Mixed breed dogs make wonderful companions for families looking for a loyal and one-of-a-kind pet.
