Meet Jax!
Jax is a 9-year-old Corgi who has a whole lot of personality packed into that little body!
Over the time Jax has been with us, we’ve really gotten to know him and understand his quirks. One thing we know for sure is that Jax is food protective, so his future family will need to be respectful of his space around meals and treats. Because of this, we feel a home without young children would be best.
But there’s so much more to this guy!
-Great with other dogs
-Great with cats
-Absolutely loves his people
-Very vocal — he’s got plenty to say!
-Food protective
-Doesn’t like being picked up
-Doesn’t like being left behind
-Wants to be with his people and doesn’t enjoy being closed in a kennel or room by himself
Jax is definitely a dog who wants to be part of the family. He loves his people and wants to know what’s going on. Being separated or left behind isn’t his idea of a good time!
Jax also has hip dysplasia and is currently on pain medication to help keep him comfortable. His forever family will need to be prepared to continue managing his condition and making sure this senior guy gets the care he deserves.
Jax may have a few quirks, but he’s also a sweet, loyal, funny little Corgi who has so much love for his people. He just needs a family who will understand him, respect his boundaries, and let him be the wonderful dog he is.
Could Jax be the Corgi you’ve been waiting for?
